Christmas Eve Candlelight Services

St. Paul’s United Methodist Church will have four different Candlelight services in its Sanctuary on Christmas Eve, December 24. All services will include the lighting of candles. The services earlier in the day are more appropriate for young children. The schedule follows:

  • Noon. Service of Holy Communion with a sermon.
  • 5 p.m. Service of Lessons and Carols with the St. Paul’s Chamber Choir and Treble Choir.
  • 7 p.m. Service of Lessons and Carols with the St. Paul’s Choir.
  • 9 p.m. Service of Holy Communion with a sermon and the St. Paul’s Choir.

At 5501 Main Street, St. Paul’s United Methodist Church is in the modified English Gothic structure on the corner of Main and Binz/Bissonnet, across from the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. The church is within one block of both Museum District MetroRail stops, and free parking is available in two lots across Fannin Street from the church. Website: www.stpaulshouston.org
