Bug-Focuses Classes Let Kids Explore Nature’s Wild Side
Up-close examinations of unusual insects and bugs will allow kids to explore the weird and wild side of nature next weekend at the Houston Arboretum.
Registration for children aged 3 to 5 years old is currently ongoing for Tadpole Troopers, a program that is meant to engage youngsters in a lifelong love of the outdoors. The February classes focus on insects and bugs.
The classes at the Houston Arboretum and Nature Center, 4501 Woodway Dr., will take place multiple times per day on Feb. 6 and Feb. 12. The cost is $13 for members and $26 for non-members. To register or get more information, visit www.houstonarboretum.org.
