Criminal Mischief
At 9:52 am, the police were sent to the 3600 block of Robinhood about some criminal mischief.

Sunday, September 4

Aggravated Assault w/ Deadly Weapon
Officers responded to a 911 call reporting an attempted robbery in the 2700 block of Arbuckle Street just before 6:30 p.m. Sunday. The victim opened his door to a bald, Hispanic man who wasn’t successful in entering the home, but he stabbed the victim, then fled north on Wakeforest in a small silver vehicle.
The stabbing victim was taken to a hospital by West U EMS personnel.

West University Police are optimistic that the violent robber who stabbed a resident on Sunday will soon be charged.

“The leads are promising,” said Capt. Thad Olive.

Monday, September 5

Criminal Trespass
Police went to the 6000 block of Kirby about someone threatening to break the windows to the residence. Officers arrived and saw a broken window. The window breaker was then arrested for the offense of Criminal Trespass of a Habitation.
Tuesday, September 6

Evading / Resisting Arrest
Police saw a car traveling northbound in the 5300 block of Buffalo Speedway with a bad brake light. The officer made talked with the driver, but the driver became very uncooperative. As the officer tried to place the suspect in custody, the suspect resisted and ran away. The suspect was later captured and arrested for the felony offense of Evading Arrest and misdemeanor offense of Resisting Arrest.
Wednesday, September 7

Burglary of Motor Vehicle
At 5:37 pm, an officer went to the 5400 block of Kirby about a car burglary.
