18-Year-Old Houston Resident Arrested For Possession Of Mushrooms, Marijuana

West U police arrested an 18-year-old Houston resident on Aug. 18 for possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.

Michael Saccone was pulled over in the 3200 block of Robinhood for a defective brake light.

During the traffic stop, police suspected that Saccone had been drinking and asked him to step out of the vehicle, police said.

During the investigation, police patted Saccone down and found a medicine bottle in his pocket, containing 1 gram of mushrooms and 1 gram of marijuana.

They also found a pipe, more marijuana, vodka, tequila and beer in the vehicle, police said.

He was arrested for the offense and was transported to Harris County Jail.
