The Bellaire community is invited to join students of The Bellaire MENS Club as they produce the 10th annual Battle of the Bands Charity Concert, benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project.

Austin McGinnis, lead guitar and vocals; John Wall, drums; Ryan Fulghum, lead vocals and guitar; Jake Irr, bass guitar and vocals, make up the band Triple5Seven from St. Marks, Episcopal and Strake Jesuit schools, who served as last years opening band and will compete this year in the 10th annual BMC B.O.B. Charity Concert.

The event will be held on Sunday, Nov. 4 from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the historic Westbury Square, 5425 W. Bellfort Ave.

Bands from all over the Greater Houston Area will compete for charity, bragging rights and recording studio time from the famed SugarHill Recording Studios, one of the oldest studios in Texas.

Tickets are $5 pre-sell and for BMC members and $7 at the door for the general public, with 100 percent of the ticket sales going to the Wounded Warrior Project.

Bands include The Castaways (Dawson HS in Pearland), There’s a Fighter In Me (Bellaire HS, Emery HS & HSPVA), Das Wompus (Westchester HS in Spring Branch), CATHARSIS (Westbury Christian HS) and Triple5Seven (St. Marks, Episcopal and Strake Jesuit).
